Lounge wear: be Cozy with Style

Hi loves. How are you? This question it’s never been more delicate, I guess. We’re all living a difficult time and I’m off work, as many of you are. I don’t know where we will go in the next weeks. This crisis is touching everybody, and we can only hope to get back to normal life as soon as possible. Basically we’re living a lounge life, if you let me say that.

Because I didn’t think too much about it, I immersed myself in magazines and brainstormed to pull out some ideas to keep you busy. So the first thing that happened to appear in my mind is a new project on which I’m working already – and Daniele is helping me. He actually gave me the push, cause I was just doing it for my personal pleasure. So stay tuned cause I’ll keep you updated on it! 😉

But let’s go back to style. Here’s the thing: how can we talk about style when we’re forced at home all day long? So, the funny thing is that I was already looking for some cozy and comfy lounge wear pieces, cause I’ve never been a tracksuit girl, and I don’t have much for lounge wear. I usually wear clothes that I used to wear out, but they’re worn or discoloured or simply don’t suits me anymore. I’m glad I do this, cause often I change my mind and I wear them out again. But most of them will go to charity anyways.

My point is, yes we can be stylish in lounge wear. These days more than ever we can find really cute matching pieces and fancy sweatshirts. Also, we have to be stylish in our cozy pieces and sets for our self esteem and self respect. Because, as a fact, dressing up a little will always makes you feel better. No matter where you are.

As you know, black will always be my favourite, and rock will always kick in somehow. However, I find the homey and cozy feeling in the softest shades of grey and creamy. Together with a bit of turquoise, cause we live near the ocean.

Accessories:

Blue light Glasses in black and Tortoise – Even if you’re not an office worker now working from home, I bet you now spend more time on your PC. So if you don’t already owe a pair of these blue light screen glasses, get your pair here and you’ll thank me.

Black Slippers – I do enjoy so much being barefoot, but sometimes I really feel like I need a fluffy cuddle. The Penguin Slippers are my favourite, of course!

Cashmere throw Blanket and Wool throw Blanket – Both these are a gentle and stylish cuddle for your afternoon naps. As I’m Italian, I really appreciate to have finally time to do this. I’ll be a bit difficult to get back on track, once all this will be finally over.

Capri Jar Candle in turquoise, blossom scent and Festival of fields Marie Claire Candle – Certainly light up a candle always makes the room fulfilled, warm and a bit magic. During these weird days more than ever, it’s important to keep that warm sensation into our lives.
